Report of the Nominations Committee
Approved by Council on June 1, 2023
As required by the Section’s by-laws the Chair appointed a Nominations Committee
consisting of Xerxes Martin, Carla Sanchez-Adams, Mary Spector, Wayne Watson and
Esther Chavez (chair). The Committee’s report is as follows:

The attached notice was posted on the Section’s website identifying members of the
Committee, inviting Section members to submit nominations and informing them of the process for submitting nominations and further, noting that all nominations were due by May 5, 2023. That process is consistent with the requirements of the Section’s by-laws.

The Nominations Committee recommendations for members to serve on the 2023-2024. Council are noted in yellow below. Names shown in green require no vote. The “slate” approved by the Council shall be voted upon by Section members in attendance at the annual meeting.
